We saw a fabulous performance of the Wizard of Oz by a Children's Theater and then Preschool went to a Disney Show at West Spring High School. Beanie was absolutely mesmerized!!!

Merry Christmas from our House to Yours!

We wanted to share some of our newest photos with you! As you can see we are preparing for the holidays and spending some time together. As the parents raising septuplets from the new show "Jon and Kate plus 8" say: It might be a crazy life, but it's our life!!!

Life is good, sometimes tough, but always an adventure! Many changes to highlight but just a few to note. Hubbie is home for a three week visit from his latest Army adventure as the engineer of a Provincial Reconstruction Team. He's there working on humanitarian aid projects. He returns there on 27 December for another four months!
NEW GRADUATE
Big Sissy graduated in June and started a working as an Intern in NYC and DC!


She's a rising graphic designer enjoying the challenges of her professional life and searching for the right employer in the right city. She loves being a big sister to Beanie and Bippie and they LOVE her more than she ever imagined!
We are so proud of her many talents and accomplishments. She's off to NYC to live and work in January 2008!

NEWLYWEDS AND A PROMOTION TO 1ST LT


Brother M as you know married J in April and they have settled in the hectic life of newlyweds and Army spouse!
Brother M was promoted recently and J is serving his company as their Family Readiness Liasion (a full time job disguised as volunteer work!!)

BEST FRIENDS AND FOREVER SISTERS!
Beanie and Bippie have grown in so many ways this year! Bippie transitioned easily and surprised everyone as a very poised, little flower girls in Brother M's wedding in April just four months after arriving home.

They play endlessly together using their inventive imaginations and love of all things pretend. Beanie attends pre-K at Nativity and is delighted with her teachers, friends and opportunity to learn. They are in non-stop motion, singing, dancing, and laughing through the days! We know Santa will be good to them this year as he has already delivered a red mustang and they have spend 12 of the last 18 hours playing in it in the living room!!!!

This blog was originally intended for Hubbie to see all the happenings at home while he was away but now it's shaping up to be more of an active journal of the crazy life of our family. OUR FIRST YEAR TOGETHER WITH BIPPIE!

Almost a year!!

Soon it will be Kristin's first forever family day. She joined our family on December 3, 2006 in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. Kristin has been an amazingly easy child and an incredible joy to our family. She grieved the loss of her foster family and they will always hold a special place in our hearts. Kristin's is secure in her role as Jenna's mei mei and together they are awesome siblings. Here's a few early photos of Kristin's first year at home!

Thanksgiving Blessings

There is so much to be thankful for -- at the top of my list is the health and well beiing of my family and the blessings of those I love.
For all of this I will keep close to my heart this day and all the days to come. Here's some of our most recent fun!>



Jen had a Thanksgiving Feast at school and enjoying her roles as a Native American!! She also has been a busy little artist making hundreds of hand traced turkey's for Thanksgiving. She also created the portrait of a curly headed pig! Thought it would be fun to post for all to enjoy!!!

Happy Halloween Indeed!!!

Since Jenna and Kristin have been sick this week, Halloween was brief but fun!


The girls manage to go outside for about an hour, went around the neighborhood with Bridget and came home to count their loot!!!


One of the first group to stop at our house tonight was an older girl dressed as a bumblebee so she and Kristin posed for a pciture.

Growing and Getting Stronger!!

Beanie had a fun time trying and practicing everything she could at the park this weekend. T was great at encouraging her and very attentive to her safety. We had alot of fun together, now we just need someone to do the laundry and wash the dishes, because I'm exhausted!!

Fun on a Fabulous Fall Weekend

We spent alot of time outside in the park or at the playground this weekend!









It's been a busy, fun, tiring weekend with K our busy little monkey and very nimble at climbing!! Kids had a blast with cousins who dote on them endlessly during their visits.
